It features three Magician cards, two World cards, and two additional court cards per suit—a deliberate expansion to incorporate a broader range of historical figures, with a particular emphasis on women whose stories have often been overlooked.
 
For those unfamiliar with Mormon history, the deck serves as an introduction through archetype and narrative. For those within or adjacent to the tradition, it offers a deeper exploration of tarot's symbolic language, filtered through the lens of a distinctive religious heritage.

Underneath the slip case is the original packaging design and title "The Mormon Tarot". The title was changed in late April 2026 due to the fact that the LDS church started initiating legal attacks on podcasts using the word "Mormon". Although this was all very unexpected and the cards had already been printed, the name change reflects the more independent nature of the project. The church's limited trademark on the word is currenlty being challenged in court.
